Future of Interior Design – Augmented Reality
Interior design companies like Decorilla, HomePolish and Havenly took a step forward in interior design and started offering a new perspective while designing homes. They facilitate the connection between professional interior designers and savvy dwellers, by giving them a simple process and effective platform to work together online. They also managed to cut of costs and offer better prices for people to live in style and comfort.
New way of interior design process works all online, so after professional designers work on their client’s apartment flat in a 3D environment; they send 2D rendered images to their clients and by using these tools, clients can plan & arrange their future home using these design images.
As ARPandora, we have worked with Decorilla to help their customers to get a better understanding of their future living space. We have created an application for Decorilla, in which customers can see their apartment design in 3D, by using augmented reality through their mobile device. Clients can see a high-quality and user-friendly miniature model of your commercial property resting on your desk, kind of like a holographic dollhouse. So not only can you visualize the property from a god’s eye point of view (don’t let the power go to head!), but you can also create a more intricate presentation for your investors and customers. It’s not just an image or a blueprint, it’s a fully realized property.
Customers can also use Google card board; so that they can really feel they are in their newly designed apartment flat. This allows customers to walk through and interact with a computer-simulated reality and artificially simulates sensory experiences like sight and sound. In other words, it’s like being transported to your future home entirely and being able to walk around.
